Barbados is a small island situated in the easternmost part.of the Caribbean. It is one of the more populous and prosperous Caribbean islands. Political, economic and social stability have given it a relative high standard of living.

Barbados is celebrated as the cullinary capital of the Caribbean with dishes such as Cou cou and flying fish and macaroni pie.

In a mordern sport drivenand an entreprenural driven society KFMI has found it integral to introduced its organization to this vibrant and indusrrious society.

Barbados known for its beautiful beaches and it national sport – Cricket, we therefore we KFMI offered to collaborate with the Queen’s College school and various organisarions
to sponsor their 2024 cricket tournament.
The symbolic relationship between sports teams and organizations has become increasingly prevalent in this contemporary society, reflecting a broader trend towards corporate social responsibility and sponsored community engagement. Specifically, cricket teams, with their extensive fan bases and prominent public image, are increasingly leveraging philanthropic endeavors to strengthen their ties with the community, their brand reputation, and contribute to societal well-being.
KFMI Barbados sponsored the Queen’s College Cricket team tournament in 2024 who were training for Championship.

The Team was sponsored with refreshments every Saturday for 6 weeks from April 4th – May 11th 2024 at a cost of $100 (bds). Additionally, as an incentive a payout of $25 (bds)was given to the best player.of each match. This incentive boosted the players morale and comradery as they worked effortlessly to win the final match.

At last it was the final match and our team came out victorious. We won the championship for 2024 and KFMI has sucessfully achieved our goal of introducing this organization to the community and youth. Hoorah!
