Our recent Hurricane Relief charity event in North Carolina was an inspiring testament to the power of community and compassion in times of crisis. Together, we came together from different states with hearts open to support families and individuals affected by recent storms, aiming to provide immediate aid, comfort, and encouragement.
The event featured various activities designed to gather both resources and emotional support for those in need. Partners who volunteered their services worked tirelessly to organize relief packages containing essential supplies such as food, clothing, hygiene kits, and especially water because there was no drinking water due to the disaster. We were also able to distribute essential needs to various hotels as well , helping those affected to rebuild and restore their homes and lives.
We collaborated with other non profit organizations such as the Billy Graham Foundation, Samaritan’s Purse and The Generation Church in Swananoa, NC, USA to do the distribution of the supplies.
The charity event brought out shared powerful stories of resilience and faith, creating an atmosphere of hope and strength as we also shared the Parach Daily Devotional with many, as well as KFMI Info Materials.
The event also included a worship service, inviting everyone to reflect and offer support through spiritual unity, lifting those impacted by the storm in prayer. Lives were changed and some fell under the power of the Holy Spirit whiles others received Jesus Christ.
Thanks to the generosity of our KFMI Partners , the relief effort raised significant funds and supplies, which directly aided the affected communities in North Carolina.
Thanks to American Airlines for their generous support of donating snacks for the volunteers to enjoy after their tireless efforts. Together, we made a meaningful impact, showing that when challenges arise, our faith and shared purpose can bring about true healing and restoration.
We look forward to continued efforts in supporting other states through their recovery journey when crisis or disasters arise again in the future, standing together as one community with unwavering faith and love.
