KFMI Botswana Charity Report: Supporting a Family in Need
On June 22, 2024, KFMI Botswana extended a helping hand to a family profoundly affected by the tragic bus accident on the Mmamatlakala bridge in South Africa, which claimed the lives of 45 Batswana martyrs.
Among the victims was a woman who lost both her mother and brother, the primary breadwinners of her family. Heavily pregnant and responsible for seven younger siblings, she was living in a single small room. While they had bricks molded for construction, they lacked the necessary materials to build additional space.
In response, KFMI Botswana mobilized resources and provided the following essential building materials and supplies:
– Metal roofing sheets
– Roofing rafters
– Cement
– 1 door frame
– 2 window frames
– Air bricks
– Brick force 4.5
– Roofing nails
– Clothing and toiletries for the newborn baby
After delivering these goods and praying with her, she gave birth to a baby girl the very next day! She was overjoyed, especially after having been admitted and discharged three times for false labor. Glory be to God!
This act of kindness and support exemplifies the spirit of KFMI Botswana—standing together in faith and compassion to uplift those in need during challenging times.
