“Protecting a Girl Child”

IPW Botswana successfully conducted a charity event focused on supporting the dignity and well-being of schoolgirls. We targeted two schools: Mogoditshane Senior Secondary School in the Gaborone region and Motsumi Junior Secondary School in Letlhakane.

At Mogoditshane school, we provided sanitary pads and toiletries to the school girls, addressing a critical need and promoting their health and dignity. At Motsumi school, we provided toiletries in the form of washing and bathing soap, lotion, toothpastes and toilet papers. The welfare and guidance teachers expressed gratitude and welcomed the opportunity for continued collaboration to support the students’ needs.

This initiative aimed to reduce absenteeism and empower young girls through education. We look forward to building on this partnership and making a lasting impact.
